Mamushi (AKA: Japanese Moccasin, Japanese Pit Viper or Qichun Snake) spotted along a hiking trail in the Mikawa Mu Valley, near Iwakuni, Japan.

Notes:

This species and the Okinawan Habu are the most venomous snakes in Japan.
