Arctictis binturong

This mammal (order = carnivora) is related to the Asian civet. The only mermber in its genus, the binturong is also known as the bearcat. Arboreal and nocturnal, it is considered vulnerable due to habitat loss, even though it is widespread throughout Asian countries.

They are such cool animals - not sure about the buttered popcorn thing though! Here's one I saw at Adelaide Zoo:

No such fragrance noticed, lori. Maybe they should house them near the food court. They were in a very large open space including some high in the tree.

Could you smell it? Apparently they smell like buttered popcorn!
