Spotting

Description:

Head light brown with a darker brown pattern. Abdomen flecked light brown with a darker brown to redish stripe. The stripe quite thin. Speckled brown legs that turn blacker at the end. Underside of front legs are red.

Habitat:

In backyard.

Notes:

Apparently this spider is being scientifically described at the moment. Loves to Jump... obviously a jumping spider but not sure which. Very friendly, as it kept jumping on my camera.

Tough guys these cute, little supermovers! However I'd rather call this behavior brave, than friendly. (:

Thanks nice shots!

You might have a point there Mark...
Or maybe it just liked me!!! Or I was the only thing that had showed it any interest.

Jumping?!! Aarghh! Those big eyes are so amazing. Now if they can stay flat-footed, that'd be great :)

I wonder if they do that because they can see an enemy in the lens reflection.
Great shots TLTs
