Dwarf Sundew

Drosera brevifolia

Description:

I have been walking these woods for over a decade and never noticed these sundews. I only found them in one area, and they were so small. I only noticed them because I recognized the flowers sticking out of the grass.

Habitat:

Sandy forest area near pine and oak trees

Notes:

No obvious break between petiole and blade, leaves wedge-shaped, the glandular hairs extending for most of their length
