Brown Shield Bug nymph

Description:

2nd instar nymph stage. Very small insect less than half a centimetre, round, black with white outline and pattern down centre of back, yellow antennae, tipped with black. White markings less than in Gum Tree Shield Bug instar.

Habitat:

Found in dry woodland environment.

Although your suggestion bayucca shows similar image with dark antennae not yellow under different name. Will examine and change ID. Thank you very much for help.

I think I agree with the Brown Shield Bug up to 2nd instar going by images you have suggested Stephen. It's quite pretty as a youngster.
