..there are about 13 species of Taxeotis listed and I can't tell the difference. We just had an earthquake while I was typing this !

This is a geometrid moth . Subfamily: Oenochrominae. Genus Taxeotis

I never get this one right but you could check against this while I have a look at Peter Mariott's book
