Largid Bugs

Description:

A male and a female of Hemiptera bugs in the Family Largidae. Dark grey in color with orange-yellow band on the base of the prothorax and around the abdomen.

Habitat:

Semi-urban area on the outskirts of San Cristobal de Las Casas. On bushes.

Notes:

Most Hemipteran bugs mate end to end, unlike beetles for example, in which the male is on top of the female.
