Description:

Small bird, with deeply forked tail and long, thin wings. Adult has dark blue upperparts, rufous forehead, chin and throat and white underparts. Juvenile is first brown with pale orange instead of rufous, turning blue-rufous-white after few weeks.

Habitat:

Prairies open ranges.
