Charidotella sexpunctata
Small metallic beetle with a clear shield surrounding it.
They can change color, looking initially like tiny jewels, or golden ladybugs, but can alter the reflectivity of the cuticle so the outer layers become clear, revealing a ladybug type of red coloring with black spots

They feed on morning glory. We kinda flushed this one, but it landed on a nearby oak leaf.
This was definitely the find of the day!
which kind of plant/tree was it on. SO that I know where to look for it.
