Cossid moth (♂)

Endoxyla secta

Description:

A smallish Cossid moth at 25mm with typical 'cracked' patterns on upper wings. A dark shape behind the head might help with species. Hind wings not revealed.

Habitat:

Resting on an awning under strong lights at a local used car yard late at night. For pics 2 and 3 it cooperated by moving down to the ground.

Notes:
