This bird was in company with red vented bulbul, later I noticed the undertail marking. On hunting in a grassland with bulbul and drongo.

I'm looking at "Hawk Cuckoo"..... try that. I'm at work and can't dig deeper. What about the Moustached Hawk Cuckoo? Is that in India?
There is a red billed blue magpie with almost the same tail markings but the tail is longer and body color too bold to be this bird. Tried looking for an immature one but couldn't find a match on this
My guess since it is a little hard to get details is some type of Cuckoo. The under tail makes me think that but can't match.
