Red-tailed hawk

Buteo jamaicensis

Description:

Appears to have varying colors of cream and brown, and black on the wings.

Notes:

One of our students happened to spy this guy in the sky. After doing a little research I think it is a red tailed hawk. I did crop the first two pictures to get a better look. Any help would be much appreciated.

I agree with Jellis! Please update your spotting so we know the identity and scientific name. :-)

Thank you Jellis.
