I spent about an hour in the yard close to a trumpet bush trying to catch the local population of hummingbirds feeding. It was getting dark, and I was about to give up...when this one practically posed for me as it came in for a quick feed. After this shot, my day was done.
This was taken in an urban area, surrounded by the Mojave Desert
