Cool find! Please consider adding this to the Marvelous Mantids of the World mission: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1573...

The scientific name section is meant for the Genus and species names only. When the species is not known, the genus can be put in that slot.

For example, we have two extremely similar skink species here. The only way to tell them apart is to look at the scales on the underside of the tail.
Since I know the genus is Plestiodon, I put Plestiodon sp. in the Scientific Name section.

In the case of your spotting here. I am not sure at this time of the Genus, even. The best way to post this would be to leave the scientific name section blank and mark the little box that says "Help me ID this species".

It is a really interesting find, either way. :-)
