Oriental Whip Snake

Ahaetulla Prasina

Description:

This was by far the coolest looking snake I found in the SAS rainforest. I found it with mattheww1 and benjaminx1. It was about 1 meter long, and had beautiful lime green scales.

Habitat:

I found it in our school's rainforest, which is a secondary tropical forest. It had not rained the previous day, but this snake was using a small tree as shade. I was there at noon.

Notes:

I did use some filters for the first picture, since it brought out the color of the snake. I hope you liked my picture editing!
