I have placed on Bug Guide to see if they can come up with common name, although the "Jamaican Digger Wasp" sound pretty cool-LivanEscudero-thanks for your help! Also thanks ForestDragon and others who favored this wasp!

I made up that common name...(from the scientific name) I can't find any common name on line. It is a Sphex, but it is smaller (having seen both). Also it has no black at end of abdomen like the great golden (and other sphexs).
