Spotting

Description:

I thought this was a milkcap, but no latex came out when broken. It may be a milkcap that is just a bit old and dried up, seeing as I couldn't get a spore print either because it was already too old. Orange cap, pale orange-yellow gills and stem. The gills were brittle and browning at the edges. The inside of the stem was pale yellow to white. Growing singly at the location.

Habitat:

Grassy area of a suburban yard with sandy soil
