Larger and more bulky than other rock-thrushes, both sexes more richly coloured.( Newman's birds of southern africa)

Habitat:

Montane slopes, rocky, bush-covered hillsides at all altitudes, and rocky gorges.

Notes:

Same day as the other rock-thrush but different specimen :)
