Reef Triggerfish/ humuhumunukunukuapua'a

Rhinecanthus rectangulus

Description:

The Hawaiian name (humuhumunukunukuapua'a) may be one of the longest words in the Hawaiian language and it is joked that "the name is longer than the fish." The reef triggerfish was originally designated the official fish of Hawaii in 1985.
