Anole

Anolis sagrei

Description:

Fast, curious, quiet and adaptable. I have over 100 of these little anoles in my backyard and love to watch their colors change as they alight on foliage and lawn furniture, windows and flip-flops. When they're first born, they're so tiny. Quite fun to watch!

Welcome to Project Noah! This little cutie is an introduced species that originally comes from Cuba (sometimes it's called the Cuban Brown Anole). Though quite pretty, they are invasive and aggressive and are pushing the more docile native Green Anole out of its habitat.
