Spotted apatelodes

Apatelodes torrefacta

Description:

The color of this moth was more distinct in person and was a little more rust colored. The wings appeared to be wavy in how they folded and extended from the body. I've seen this arching abdomen resting position from several moths, but not sure what it's about.

Habitat:

west central ga. Stayed on my garage wall all day until the evening came.
