Cossid moth (♂)

Endoxyla lichenea

Description:

A medium sized Cossid moth at 45mm with typical 'cracked' patterns in mid grey and some black parts on upper wings which might help with species. Hind wings not photographed but a tyre lever revealed a similar mid grey.

Habitat:

Resting under strong lights at a local used car yard late at night.

Notes:
