Thank you, do you recall which one? There are others that would be far better help, most of what I know about fungi have learned in last couple months from being on here. :)

Just count the spots ;-)... These Satyrs are usually not easy to ID.

My first impression was a little wood, but this one does not have the 2 yellow-rimmed black eyespots both above and below. Carolina satyr has several small spots lined with yellow.
