Anthericum sp
Thanks Dan and Lori! I have already edited my spotting and placed Dan's suggested ID. Looking forward to your posting of the wild form Lori :)
The wild form of Dianella tasmanica grows on our property (in Tasmania, of course). I'll post some photos when it blooms in the spring.
I'm not familiar with Dianella but the description in the link says 'small blue lavender flowers' whereas these are white. I don't know about Natral, but I'm sticking with my suggestion.
Hi Natral and Dan. I did some research on the net and this is close to what I have in my garden http://magnoliagardensnursery.com/plants.... Kindly check though if I got it right. It's a lily that looks like a grass. I also included a third photo that shows the flower buds. Thank you for the correction and Dan's suggested ID.
Natral is right, this is not miscanthus. We use this as a border plant in our flower beds at work. It's really tough and can handle the tourists who step on it to get their photo inside the flower bed!
