Nature School For Teachers - Fall 2020 Launch!
Eudocima phalonia (Linnaeus) ♂ A common species, I have several thousand specimens of this particular species from over 20 countries in my research collection. Currently, there are several other species which are undescribed that exist from different world locations that are mistakenly going under this same name. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a...
Hi Vernon. Please provide a correct link if you think it's a wrong ID.
This is not Eudocima cajeta. email@example.com
What script is that on the newspaper?
As I see the brown margins of the under wings are dotted with yellow in Nuwan's moth. I don't see the same here.
Harsha you have spotted same specie that spotted by Our Best Mother Nuwan what I used reference in my suggestion. If you judge thin cross lines and colour is same in both Moths. But we feel difference between them due to some photographic view differences.
Thanks Ashish. Does look like Eudocima. But I am not quite sure that the species should be the same as well.
Can you provide the link?
Look like Fruit Piercing Moth as spotted by Nuwan.
Thank you. :)
Great series Harsha
