Whoa, the female's look crazy. Interesting biology too, with the larvae living in a case and feeding on lichen. Thanks for the I.D Leuba

Females look very different, don't fly and dart around on the ground. They are out this time of year it seems. We saw a female again just yesterday.

Males are said to be nocturnal so it's great to see yours - great photos too.
