I didn't notice this amazing blue coloured bug until I looked at the photo on the computer.
thanks Mark, that looks like the one. Well done! No wonder I didn't see it! Only 1/4 inch in size...! Definitely would have needed my reading glasses to see that one! It was seen in the Los Angeles basin also, and found on leaves just as it said in the link you provided. Great colour!
A lucky find - love it when that happens. The older you get the more often it happens :)
