Golden-crowned Snake

Cacophis squamulosus

Notes:

This very cute golden-crowned snake was a WIRES rescue, but unfortunately I can't remember what its story was. The Golden-crowned Snake is a small nocturnal, terrestrial species that is venomous but not considered dangerous.
