Description:

An Australasian psilocybin containing mushroom. 60mm tall, 50mm wide. Common during Autumn (Fall). Some dark spore stains on white stipe, mycelium showing at base, gills pale cream coloured, top dark brown to gold coloured at margin.

Habitat:

Mulch, leaf litter and open forest floors.

Notes:

Psilocybin has been isolated from this species in 0.45% yield so these mushrooms if ingested may cause intense psychedelic experience. Treat with caution. Also known as 'Goldtops'
