Bell's Sparrow

Artemisiospiza belli

Description:

Bell's and Sagebrush Sparrows are very similar. The markings on the dark gray head and the spot on the middle of the light colored chest. I am going by the range and time of year to say that this is a Bell's.

Habitat:

Dry flat desert of scrub, sagebrush and chaparral.
