Euphrates Swordtails

Arisbe euphrates euphrates

Quite a colourful Butterfly, this is a sub-species of Euphrates Swordtails found in Luzon Island. They can be quite a pain to take pictures of as you usually see them flying around without stopping, hence hardly any chance to take pictures of them. Saw this one several meters away along a small road leading to Mt. Gulugod Baboy early in the morning. Pic#1 was taken as I approached it and I continue to get nearer to get much closer shot shown in Pic#2.
