Description:

This species is very peculiar when compared to other nudibranchs. It usually breeds in the winter (most species breed in the spring and summer), has direct development (the newborns are small slugs while in most species they hatch as minute planktonic larvae) and has a life span of 7 years (most species only live for 1 year).
