I hope you hung something on that window-- a poster, a sun catcher, something that will alert other birds to the fact that there IS something there . They see the sky etc reflected in the glass and assume its open air. Your Jay is lucky he didn't actually break its neck or beak.
Blue jays feather patterns are simply beautiful, great perspective Rieko =)
