Red Longhorn

Tylosis suturalis

Description:

About 12mm body length. Red colouration on protonum and elytra; two black spots on protonum and a central black stripe on elytra; head. legs, and antennae are also black. Antennae are more than twice as long as the animal's body, possibly a male.

Habitat:

Found in national park 'El Cimatario', just outside Querétaro in semi-arid region.
