Description:

Tiny white flowers (1/4 inch) with five spearhead-shaped petals with yellow spot on each. Coral-colored pistils. Stems are orange or rusty color.

Habitat:

Grows in open forest. This one was spotted on the Pacific Crest Trail in the William O. Douglas Wilderness, Wenatchee National Forest adjacent to Mt. Rainier National Park.
