Altica ampelophaga
Small black coleoptera, with a slight green-golden iridisation that eat the tree leaves leaving only the nerves. It is a very serious pest of vines in Spain, sometimes causing crop losses of up to 50 per cent. The Pentatomid, Zicrona coerulea, L., is predacious on the larvae.
