Spotting

Notes:

I found this Wolf Spider when I went into my garden shed for gas to fill my lawn mower. It was about 2 inches accross and there was a carcass of another one below it on the ground. I am not sure what it is and was hopeing one of you had an idea.

Definitely not an orb weaver. It could be of the genus Dolomedes, Hogna or Pardosa.

It is colored almost the same but the back end is not as round as an orb weaver. However I looked up a picture of a huntsman and they could be twins. I think you nailed it. Thanks
