Northern Green Frog

marshes, swamps, ponds, lakes, springs, and other aquatic environments

Notes:

found at Kelso Lake in the Boundary Waters. In order to use my macro attachment (first photo), I have to be within two inches of my subject, and I was surprised she let me get that close. When I tried to get even closer though, she jumped into the lake. On my way back about five hours later, she was perched back again on the same rock.
