Description:

Medium-sized pennant mostly of coastal areas with a prominent hindwing spot. Females have white sides with a black/brown "W" pattern. Typically perch at tips of twigs or grass.

Habitat:

Spotted on a tree at Bowditch Point, Fort Myers Beach, FL. This was the only one of this species that I saw among a huge swarm of wandering gliders.
