Description:

A cluster of tiny white flowers with yellow stamens on a bright red stem. Approxmately 4 inches tall and the leaves grow low on the ground.

Habitat:

Grows on the subalpine meadows and open forest. This one was spotted on the Naches Peak Loop Trail in the Mt. Rainier National Park, WA.
