Metridium farcimen
Beautiful Anemone while diving today at Edmonds Marine Sanctuary. The flowers of the ocean in my eyes, and the freezing water was totally worth this shot.
It ranges from Alaska to California, but most common in the puget sound.
They feed on small invertebrates, using their tentacles to catch them and force them into it's mouth.

Hi Arya. Sea anemones are not mollusks -- they're cnidarians. ;)
Just noticed the light in the background in pic 2.. Ignore it!
Thank you Antonio, the mild hypothermia was worth the shot!
Beautiful capture Arya, very nice series, congrats and thanks for sharing
