Green Alder sawfly larvae

Notes:

I found this, on a blade of grass, and it appeared to have shed possibly at the end of the blade it looked like skin or something.

here is a link for a sawfly it also has pictures of larva i don't think that's what it is, i have never seen anything like this :)

The black "eye" suggests a sawfly larva of some type. If it was a caterpillar of a butterfly or a moth, it would have six, usually hidden eyes.
