Another beautiful series! I had no idea there were fireflies in the Pacific NW! I wonder if they live in Seattle and glimmer like the fireflies in Japan....

Good luck with this one!! I first thought it was a Carrion Beetle, Oiceoptoma noveboracense, Margined Carrion Beetle, but it is not, it is a Diurnal Firefly from the genus Ellychnia. But you need some good eyes, probably more shots and some luck to get closer, since there are several canidates for this one. All also found in BC. Unfortunately I am in this case not lucky enough, I can't separate them:
