Oriental Whip Snake

Ahaetulla prasina

Description:

This snake was small for it's species, so I would assume it is juvenile. It was about the length of an adult's arm. An interesting behavior that I noticed was that it wrapped its tail around its neck to rest. It was bright green in color.

Habitat:

This snake was found in the canopy of the SAS rainforest, wrapped around a thin branch.
