Description:

About 7-8 millimeters in body length, wholly metallic blue in color.

Habitat:

Found several specimens on foliage at the edge of a vast, weedy vacant lot where a pickle-packing plant once stood. Surrounding neighborhood is suburban/rural residential with deciduous woodlands, agricultural fields.

Notes:

This species is *not* native to North America, having been introduced from western Europe.
