Black Vulture

Coragyps atratus

Description:

A large black bird that looked like a vulture. It appeared to have black feathers on its head but after filtering all the possibilities I could think of in my bird guide I came to the conclusion that it was a Black Vulture

Habitat:

Perching in a humongous very old tree in my backyard

Notes:

It flew away so I only got one photo
