Metacyrba taeniola
Small black spider with two bold yellow stripes on the abdomen and one across the face, under the eyes. This subspecies is distinguished by at least the fourth legs being red. This male specimen only had red on the fourth pair on the patella, tibia and tarsus leg segments. The other legs had red on the tarsus segments.
Oak woodland on various plants. This species can be found in the southern half of the US and into Mexico.
