Tenodera sinensis
Light brown body with bright green along front wing margin. Able to fly but somewhat clumsy at take-off.
Suburban backyard garden.
Introduced species that is commercially available for pest control. It will prey on anything small enough for it to catch including frogs, lizards and hummingbirds (aside from other insects and spiders). Has contributed to some decline of native mantid species.
