Description:

Swallowtail butterfly caterpillars have two defensive lines. First one, they look like distasteful bird droppings (see photo #4). Besides that, they usually develop a large protrusion on the forebody, which mimics some dangerous thing, and helps it to keep predators away. And indeed, dangerous this cat seems to be!
