Spotting

Description:

This fungi appears 3" x 3" and orange yellow in color. When touched it appears bruised with light brown. It is growing near a hollowed area in lower 4 foot of tree. I believe it may be Dyer's Polypore but uncertain.

Habitat:

Wood - living tree with hollow decay from insects and exposed bark.

Could be a young Laetiporus. Add pictures as it gets older if you can!
